Bill Bolender (born 14 November 1940; age 84) is an American actor and artist who played Lightning Bill in "Pilot".
He is mainly known for small appearances in movies, such as RoboCop 2, JFK, Reality Bites, The Shawshank Redemption, Nixon and Dante's Peak. His guest appearances in television include roles in Walker, Texas Ranger (starring Rayford Barnes and featuring Jeff Mack), NYPD Blue, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (starring Bert Remsen), Alias, Deadwood and Desperate Housewives. He also had a recurring role as Captain Ross in JAG.
